The Haveli Sangeet class provides instruction in singing kirtans composed by the Ashta Sakha, the eight poet-disciples of Mahaprabhuji Shrimad Vallabhacharyaji. Primary emphasis is given to teaching the musical scale and its variations to get a feeling for and recognition of the musical notes (svar) and raagas from the North Indian classical tradition of dhrupad-dhamaar. Classes are held twice a month, usually on the first and third Sundays of the month. Class timings are from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. For more information, email dharmaraj108@yahoo.com.
